We’re all living in pieces of art that a human being had to carefully craft for the sole purpose of sheltering us. Think about that for a moment and let it sink in. A human being had to draw and design the very building you live in. They had to craft this living, breathing, corruptible building so that it is safe for us to sleep in, to work in, and to play in. That small little nook that you love to curl up in with a book? A human being had decided to add it. Those vaulted ceilings in a cathedral that are so gorgeous that whenever you look up you find your breath catching and your heart racing? It was a design born from a mortal man

I needed to draw. A family very close to us was ripped apart when one of their children died in a car accident, and the other is in intensive care. I needed to get stuff out. Here it is.
